For pole and aerial classes it is best to wear something with your arms, thighs, and sides exposed. Swimwear, bra and panty sets, sports bra with short shorts are all acceptable. Please avoid leggings or any other pants. These will hinder the use of your legs. Also avoid lotions. oils, and creams before class. These make gripping the pole or hoop very difficult.
Poles at Ambition hold up to 380 pounds. The hoops will hold up to 450 pounds. Do not be discouraged if your weight exceeds the limits. Body strength varies from person to person. We can work on your personal goals to help you do what you want to do.
Yes! Walk-ins are welcome as long as space permits. Please keep in mind walk-in participants are ineligible for advanced booking discounts and are required to pay full price.
Any age is welcome, but participants under 18 are restricted to parent-and-me private classes only. A parent must be present at all times.
Dancer heels are encouraged when you are comfortable. Regular heels are strongly advised against. They are not made for what we do and increase your chance of injury.
The answer to this question depends on your experience and goals. The pole trix classes are always a fun intro and are usually a first choice.
Because of the intimate nature of classes, watchers are not allowed in group classes. You are welcome to bring your friend/significant other to a private class,
Ambition does not expect participants to be camera ready. Ambition Group Fitness is a safe place. Recording and going live changes that dynamic. Please only record yourself and/or people you have permission to record. Please do not go live during any class.
There are so many variables to consider before answering that question. What is your current fitness level? How often will you practice? Do we need to overcome any fears? Your goals and journey are very personal and specific to you and primarily depend on you. Put yourself up against yourself. It's the old you vs the new you. Also remember to be patient with yourself
